EISS 2018 : Appel à communications

L’appel à communications pour l’édition 2018 de l’European Initiative on Security Studies est dorénavant disponible en suivant ce lien : 2018 EISS Call for Papers.

Le document inclut :

  • une description des objectifs et du nouveau format de l’EISS (avec des panels ‘fermés’ et des panels ouverts’),
  • le programme provisoire de la conférence,
  • les abstracts des différents panels, et
  • les modalités de proposition de communications et sections thématiques.

Délais :

  • La date limite pour l’envoi des propositions de communication/ST est le 31 janvier 2018.
  • La date limite pour l’envoi des propositions des panels ouverts et fermés sera autour de mi-fin février 2018
  • Le programme final sera envoyé aux participants en mars 2018

Résumé (anglais) : The second conference of the European Initiative on Security Studies (EISS) will be held in Paris on 21-22 June 2018 at the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2). It is organized by the Association for the Study of War and Strategy (AEGES) in collaboration with the Center Thucydides and the Center for Studies and Research on Administrative and Political Science (CERSA) of University Paris 2. The Academic Director of the EISS is Dr Hugo Meijer (European University Institute, EUI).

The second conference of the European Initiative on Security Studies (EISS) will be held in Paris on 21-22 June 2018 at the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2). It is organized by the Association for the Study of War and Strategy (AEGES) in collaboration with the Center Thucydides and the Center for Studies and Research on Administrative and Political Science (CERSA) of University Paris 2. The Academic Director of the EISS is Dr Hugo Meijer (European University Institute, EUI).

The Call for Papers and Panels of the 2018 edition of the European Initiative on Security Studies is available following this link: 2018 EISS Call for Papers.

This file includes:

  • a description of the objective and the new format of the EISS (with ‘closed’ and ‘open’ panels),
  • the provisional program,
  • the abstracts of the different panels, and
  • the procedures of communications thematic sections.

Deadlines:

  • 31st of January 2018  to the panel chairs and panel proposals to the EISS. NB Paper proposals should be sent to the panel chairs (cf. their emails in the attached document) while panel proposals should be sent to the EISS (eissnetwork@gmail.com)
  • Mid-late February 2018: decision on open panels by EISS; and on papers for closed panels by chairs
  • March 2018: final program sent to participants
